Classic Army M203 Grenade Launcher
As an add on to any railed rifle the M203 is always fun. Firing a single shell at a time is its only drawback. It can fire any type and style of M203 shell with no problems. When you use this to fire "howlers" as a room clearing device it is unstoppable. This is the full sized launcher that is too long for CQB sized weapons and a little too heavy. If you have a long barrel M4 or an M16 this launcher is a perfect add on and if will fit almost any RIS.
Pros:
Fun to play with, fires any type of M203 shell
Cons:
Full size is big and heavy, Shells are expensive
Overall:
If you can handle the extra weight and cost they are very useful and fun. I give them a 8/10 due to the weight and size.

Airsoft Innovations Tornado Impact Grenade
The AI Tornado grenade is amazing tool for CQB use. It uses a simple design to deliver a larger punch. The outside shell is made from a VERY durable plastic material that can survive hundreds if not thousands of tosses into rooms. The instructions on how to use it are very simple. After setting the grenade all there is to do is literally pull the pin and thrown. The grenade does the rest of the work. The assembly of the impact grenade is easy. The first step is to unscrew the top section of the grenade with the pin port. To set the pressure plates you insert the pin into the spout, slide on the short thick cylinder, followed by the large half moon, the small disc and the last piece to go on is the thin piece cylinder. After all of those are in place, carefully line the pin up with the pin hole in the grenade and screw tight. The next step is to unscrew the base plate and fill with gas. After the gas is filled, screw the cover back on and fill both ports with bbs. When you are ready to throw, pull the pin and the impact against a hard surface causes the pieces that the pin were holding in line to break apart and set off the grenade spewing bbs in a 360 degree area and about 10 ft. The impact grenade is great for clearing rooms that you can get a clear line for a toss. These grenades come in a steep $100.00 but it is worth it in the end.
Pros:
360 degree spray, lots of bbs, about a 10ft. radius, goes off on impact
Cons:
Cannot use walls as a redirect, pin is easy to loose, price
Overall:
For a CQB environment this is almost a necessity. If you have played well without one, your game will be that much better with one. 10/10

Airsoft Innovations Timer Tornado Grenade
The AI Tornado grenade is amazing tool for CQB use. It uses a simple design to deliver a larger punch. The outside shell is made from a VERY durable plastic material that can survive hundreds if not thousands of tosses into rooms. The instructions on how to use it are very simple. After setting the grenade all there is to do is literally pull the pin and thrown. The grenade does the rest of the work. Assembly of the timer grenade is simple. The first set is to use the key and stick it down the spout to rest the plunger. Then you insert the pin in either the 1.5 second or 3 second time setting. The rubber stopper at the top of the grenade needs to be pulled out and then you can unscrew the bottom of the grenade just like the impact and fill it the same way. Once filled, replace the rubber stopper at the top and fill with bbs. The difference between this grenade and the impact grenade is that you can redirect this grenade into a room by bouncing it off a wall. There is a timer that you set so when you pull the pin you can have either 1.5 or 3 seconds to throw the grenade before it goes off. This gives you the amount of time to pull the pin and bounce off of a wall or two and then land in the correct room to go off at the right time. They share the same price tag at $100.00 still.
Pros:
360 degree spray, lots of bbs, about a 10ft. radius, goes off on timer so redirect is possible
Cons:
pin is easy to loose, price

Hakkotsu Thunder B
Great device to add to any players arsenal. These "sound grenades" are cheap and very easy to manipulate. To charge the core, all you have to do is set the spoon with the pin, screw in a fresh c02 cartridge, and screw it into the replaceable canisters. Once set, just pull the pin, throw the grenade and when the spoon releases it sets off the c02 catridge and you get a very loud boom. Theses grenades have different meanings at different events and fields. Some fields allow them as only a distractive device and cause no harm, some use them as "concussion or flash" grenades and anyone in that room is "stunned" for 3 seconds and cannot move while others use this as an actual kill radius. Make sure you know what you field and event allow prior to use. The price comes in at $35.00 for the starter kit which includes the core, 2 pins and 3 canisters. You can buy replacement canisters at 12 for $15.00 and they come in various shapes and colors as well.
Pros:
Price, ease of readiness, loud
Cons:
pin is easy to loose
Overall:
These are worth buying for any setup or game. Even if it is only a distraction device, the sight of a grenade is usually enough to cause heads to duck and the sound of the Thunder B is def enough to startle someone.
