JG G36C
The JG G36C is a great rifle for players that are newer to the game. It is lightweight, being made of all plastic, so it is versatile and isn’t hard to maneuver. The rifle includes a folding skeleton stock which places the battery in the front hand guard. There is a top rail and a bottom rail included with this rifle. The top rail houses the factory iron sights and is a full rail so any optics can be used without placement problems. The top rail is also a carry handle and is also made from plastic. The under rail is small and meant for a fore grip or a similar small rail space item. There is a front hand stop as well on the end of the bottom rail. The charging handle is made from plastic as well and is prone to breaking. To access the hopup you have to hold back the charging handle as there is no functioning bolt catch. The front hand guard takes some getting used to for battery fitment and is quite small. There are limited choices for batteries so a 7.4 lipo is your best choice. You will have to play with the rifle to find the best way for you to get the battery to fit correctly no matter what size you get. There is also a fusible link inline with the battery. This is to protect it from overload but will also blow randomly without any cause. The mags are stackable with the tabs that come from the factory and the rifle if completely ambidextrous. The lower is very similar to the MP5 in that the selector switch and mag release are of the same configuration. The charging handle swings out to either side to use. For a starter rifle coming in at a price of $112.00, this rifle is a great deal.
Pros:
price, weight, ambidextrous
Cons:
battery compartment and fitment, material, fuse
Overall:
As a starter rifle this is a great choice giving it 8/10 but when next to higher quality rifles it lacks in almost every way. a 7/10 is the overall score.
