Rocky Mountain Tactical 1-Point
This sling is not your average 1-point sling. Instead of it being a loop that you put over your head and under one arm causing pulling tension on your neck and shoulder when your weapon is at rest, it attaches to your shoulder d-rings or MOLLE and create a V shape centering the weapon on your chest. This evens out the weight of your weapon on your body and also allows for smooth shoulder transitions since the sling is centered instead of one sided. This sling is made from Cordura and uses high impact quick release buckles. There are two styles of clips that you can mount to your weapon, first being a basic strap that connects to an M4 style buffer tube, or the H&K clip that is used for different style sling mounts. The sling uses three disconnect points to help with accessibility and ease of removal. Two buckles are at the mounting points allowing complete removal of the sling from the vest and the third is by the sling mount clip allowing the release of just the rifle. The Sling is available with either clip style and comes in Black, Tan or OD. The price on this sling comes in at $30.00.
Pro:
centers weapon to your chest, three QD buckles, two style clips, distributes weapon weight evenly
Cons:
none
Overall:
This sling overall is amazing quality and allows for easier movement and transition of the rifle. I would rate this 9/10 only because some people may like the traditional style sling better.

Voodoo Tactical 1-Point
This 1-point sling from Voodoo Tactical is a basic sling. There are no bungees on it and its adjustability is not that great. It can go from XS - M/L sized but that's about it. It tends to pull on your neck when your weapon is attached and gets uncomfortable very fast. The sling attachment point is very nice though and is quick disconnect which is a helpful feature. The mounting point is not a clip or loop, but a cord so it is universal. This cord just loops into itself creating a knot like attachment. It is very sturdy and seems to hold up to various weights. The quick disconnect is the best feature for this sling. it allows you to remove the weapon without having to remove the sling in total. The material the sling is made from is very rough and strong Cordura allowing it to last a long period of time and abuse. The price for one of these slings is only $20.00 so you’re not breaking the back for a 1-point sling.
Pros:
material is strong, quick disconnect, attachment point, price
Cons:
tighter fit, digs into neck and causes discomfort
Overall:
This is a fine sling for those of you who just want a basic sling with no bells and whistles. The price is very low and in my opinion is right on par with a sling of this status and style. I would only recommend this sling as a last resort or if your budget is small. I would have rated it a 5/10 but because the price is so low ill give it a 6/10

Fryelock's Custom Paracord Slings
This sling was made out of 550 paracord and serves multiple purposes and can be worn in different fashions. It can be made in any one color or multiple colors. The sling is made using a weave patter that is very solid and tight. This allows for flexibility as well as strength for the user. Custom tailored to your person, the sling can be used as a standard 1-point sling or you can weave it into your vest and have a 1-point center sling. Because it is not adjustable, using it at a 2-point rifle sling only works if it is tailored to be that, which is a possability. The best part about this sling is that if you were to ever find yourself in a situation that required emergency rope or any other reason for the need of 550 paracord, you have it on you built into a system so there is no extra paracord taking up room and adding weight to your kit. These slings come in at a great price of $18 which is less than most 1-point slings that are built to be used in only one way. The turn around time is about 1 week but they are well worth the wait.
